Why a narrow roll is faster at volume

One hand for the paper, one for the part

At 10 cm wide and around 7 cm in diameter, the roll sits lightly in the hand. You hold the component with one hand and wrap with the other. Across several hundred legs a day, that beats a wide roll you first have to cut down to size.

No dispenser, no knife, no offcuts

Creped paper tears cleanly across the running direction, so you take exactly the length each part needs and almost no waste is generated. What is left over is a single-material paper stream that goes straight into recycling.

Grip instead of adhesive

The ribbed structure makes the paper cling to itself. Pulling the final turn a little tighter usually holds the wrap in place, which means no tape has to touch the product.

What to combine it with

Crepe paper protects narrow, vulnerable parts. Large surfaces such as table tops and cabinet doors are better covered with moving blankets, and loaded edges with corrugated board. For covering wide surfaces or filling voids in a carton, a wide roll of kraft paper is quicker, and to lock a finished bundle or pallet in place you reach for hand wrapping film.

How many furniture legs does one roll cover?

With 9 metres per roll and two to three turns per leg, you will wrap roughly twenty to thirty standard chair or table legs. Solid timber legs and curved arms bring that number down. A box of 175 rolls therefore covers several thousand components.

Why the large box rather than single rolls?

This pack gives you the lowest price per roll and saves the time repeat ordering costs. For a business packing weekly, one box is typically a quarter to half a year of stock, and stored dry it does not deteriorate.

How should the box be stored?

Dry, on a pallet or shelf and out of direct sunlight. Paper draws moisture, and a damp roll goes soft and tears unevenly. In a normal dry warehouse the shelf life is effectively unlimited.

Is this paper suitable for food packaging?
