Tubular netting 15-25 mm x 200 m in blue
This blue tubular netting is the finest version in our range: it stretches from 15 to 25 mm and therefore fits closely around slim, vulnerable components. The 200-metre roll comes in a dispenser box, so you simply pull the netting out of the box and cut it to the length you need.
What is 15-25 mm tubular netting used for?
Protection during transport and storage
The 15 to 25 mm stretch range is made for slender goods: metal pipes and bars, aluminium profiles, taps and sanitary fittings, light fittings, furniture legs, shafts and machine parts. The netting absorbs rubbing and knocks exactly where products move against each other or against the wall of the packaging — the very places where scratches appear on polished, painted or chrome-plated surfaces.
Bundling and identification
Because the netting is elastic, it also keeps loose parts together without any tape touching the product. The blue stands out clearly against the item underneath, so warehouse staff can see at a glance which articles have already been protected or checked.
Open structure, no condensation
The open mesh lets air through. Components coming from a cold warehouse into their packaging continue to dry out instead of trapping moisture, and labels or type plates stay readable through the netting.
Properties of this tubular netting
The netting is extruded from polyethylene (PE) and weighs 20 grams per metre — a light quality that gives exactly the right amount of body at this diameter without becoming stiff. Polyethylene is unaffected by oils and greases, which makes the netting suitable for parts that still carry a protective coating. It cuts to size with ordinary scissors, leaves no adhesive residue, and any undamaged piece can be reused or added to your PE recycling stream.

Working from the dispenser box
The roll stays inside the box: you pull the netting out through the opening, slide it over the product and cut. No unwinding stand or extra bench space is needed, and the rest of the roll stays clean and dust-free inside the box. On a packing table the box is always within easy reach.
Complementary protective materials
For wider or more angular goods, also take a look at our foam foil, the corner profiles for vulnerable edges and the Nomapack foam profiles. To fill the remaining void in the box, use bubble wrap.

Frequently asked questions
What exactly does 15-25 mm refer to?
It is the stretch range of the netting, measured as the diameter of the product. An item of around 15 mm across already sits snugly in the netting, and up to roughly 25 mm it stretches comfortably. If your product is thicker, choose the next size up in our tubular netting range.
How many pieces does a 200-metre roll give me?
That depends on your cutting length. At 50 cm you get around 400 pieces per roll; at 1 metre, around 200. The netting also stretches lengthwise, so cut slightly shorter than the product rather than longer.
Does the netting leave marks on polished metal?
No. The netting has a soft structure and contains no hard or sharp elements; it is designed as an interlayer that absorbs contact between products. For high-gloss or mirror finishes you can combine it with a layer of foam foil.
Can the netting be reused?
Yes. As long as the mesh is intact, a piece of tubular netting can be used several times — in a returns flow, for example, or for internal transport between departments.
Why blue rather than another colour?
Blue contrasts with most metal, wooden and plastic surfaces and stands out immediately on a shelf or in a storage bin. Many customers also use colour as a code per diameter or per order flow, which prevents mix-ups in the packing department.
