Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for top sheets and pallet covers. This white 30-micron top sheet earns its place through one property: it reflects sunlight instead of absorbing it. If your pallet stands in an open yard, on a building site or waits in the sun at the loading dock, the temperature under a white sheet stays far lower.

White: less heat build-up under the film

Under dark or clear film, temperatures in direct sun can climb sharply. That is bad news for adhesives, greases, cosmetics, paint, foodstuffs and anything that expands or slumps when warm. White film bounces back a large share of the radiation, keeping the load closer to ambient temperature. White is also opaque, so what sits on the pallet stays out of sight.

When do you choose 30 microns?

30 microns sits between the light entry-level sheet and the heavy-duty versions. The sheet weighs enough to drape neatly over the load and stay put in a light breeze, without paying for material you do not need. For day-to-day warehouse work and road transport, this is the most commonly chosen gauge.

White, transparent or black?

Choose white when heat is the problem. Choose transparent when your staff need to see the load. Choose black when the load should not be visible at all. All three colours are listed under top sheets.

Where is this sheet used most?

• Outdoor storage of pallets in yards without cover.
• Building sites, where material stands out in the weather for days or weeks.

Frequently asked questions

How much difference does white really make?

It depends on the sunlight, the colour of the load underneath and the airflow, so there is no single figure. The difference against black film is clearly noticeable in full sun; white absorbs the least heat of the three colours.

Can I still read the labels on my boxes?

No, white is opaque. If labels need to stay readable without lifting the sheet, choose the transparent version.

Why 300 sheets per roll rather than more?

Thicker film takes up more space on the core, so 30 microns gives fewer sheets per roll than the thinnest option while keeping the roll manageable.

Does white also block UV?

White pigment reflects part of the light, but the film is not UV-stabilised for months of exposure. For shielding light-sensitive packaging, black is the better choice.

Can I write on the white film?

A permanent marker works fine – handy for putting an order number or destination on the pallet.
