This transparent vented stretch film, 50 cm wide and 300 metres long, is a perforated stretch film (slotted film) that wraps your load and lets it breathe. Thanks to the slotted structure, air and moisture escape, so condensation and heat build-up are prevented. This lets you pack ventilation-sensitive or moisture-sensitive products — such as plant trolleys, flower bulbs, vegetables and other fresh or delicate goods — neatly and in good condition. The film is 5 microns thick and supplied per 6 rolls per box. This version is also one-sided adhesive. The film has reinforcing bands for extra protection and stability of your pallets.

What does one-sided adhesive mean?

This vented film is one-sided adhesive. That means the film contains no glue or adhesive substance, but only clings to itself: the inside is lightly adhesive while the outside stays smooth. That smooth outside is an important advantage. Wrapped plant trolleys can stand right against each other and slide past one another without the film being torn when moving the trolleys. This keeps your load neatly and securely wrapped, even when the trolleys stand close together.

Why ventilated perforated film?

Ordinary, closed stretch film seals a load airtight. For fresh, moist or temperature-sensitive products that causes condensation and heat build-up, leading to quality loss or mould. This vented film prevents that: the slots let air and moisture escape while the elastic film still holds the load tightly and stably together.
