Small portions that need to stay upright

With a width of 7 cm, a 2.25 cm side gusset and a length of 18 cm, this is one of the smaller gusseted bags you can choose. It suits portion packs: mixed nuts, dried fruit, liquorice, sweets, loose tea or a bag of fresh herbs. Because the gusset unfolds when filled, the bag gets a small base of its own and does not fall over like a flat bag would.

Also practical outside the food trade

The same size works well for small hardware such as screws, plugs and washers, for cosmetic samples, hair accessories or a set of pens. The film is transparent, so whoever picks the order sees at once what is inside and can check the contents without opening the bag.

Choosing and closing

Measure the widest part of your product and leave a little room, so the bag can still be folded over or sealed properly. The bag is open and not resealable. You can close it with a strip of tape, a bag clip or a heat sealer. At 20 my the film is a good middle option: firm enough to hold its shape, yet light and easy to handle by the thousand.

The LDPE is suitable for direct food contact, and as LDPE is a recyclable plastic, the empty bags can be offered for plastic recycling where this is collected.
