Long, wide and sturdy: the 18 x 4 x 50 cm bag in 25 my is for goods that test thinner film. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for gusseted bags in strong grades for tools, profiles and bulky bundles. The film is transparent and suitable for direct food contact.
A 50 cm bag is large, and long contents put more strain on the film. The 25 my version is stiffer and more resistant to tearing and puncturing, so it suits metal profiles, pipes, tool sets, garden tools, mop and broom heads, and stacked printed material with hard corners.
The stiffer film holds its shape better. A filled bag stays upright more easily and the opening does not collapse while you load it. That makes work faster on a packing line, and it also looks neater on a shelf.
The film is suitable for direct food contact, so long loaves and other food can be packed as well. LDPE is a recyclable plastic. Test with a sample to see whether the thickness fits your goods; the 18 and 20 my versions of this size are the alternatives for lighter products.

Looking at other thicknesses or shapes? A bag without side folds, such as our flat plastic bags, may do the job, while tubular film on the roll lets you set the length yourself. Other sizes with a gusset are collected under gusseted bags.
More stiffness and more resistance to tearing and puncturing, so the bag holds its shape better when standing and when the long contents press on the film.
Yes, for many profiles and pipes. Test the sharpest end on a sample bag first, so you know that the thickness is right for the way you pack and handle the goods.
Not necessarily. Bread is soft, and 18 or 20 my is usually enough. The film is food-safe in every thickness, so the choice depends on how much stiffness you want.
Yes, with a heat sealer. Thicker film may need a slightly longer sealing time, so run a few test bags before you start a large batch.
