Three centimetres that matter

This bag has the same width and gusset as the 35 cm version, with three extra centimetres of length. That is often the difference between a product that just fits and one that closes neatly. Larger bread rolls, bagels in a stack, open-ended bouquets, folded jackets or boxes of stationery benefit.

Garments and soft goods

For clothing retailers, the 18 cm width is ideal for folded shirts, scarves, socks in packs and lightweight knitwear. The bag protects them from dust while the clear film shows colour and size labels.

A word on closing

Fold the top over and close it with tape, a clip or a heat sealer. The bag is open, which makes filling quick, but it is not resealable. A clip is a good choice if the customer should be able to open and close it again.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose 38 cm instead of 35 cm?

If your product is close to 33 cm, the extra length gives room to fold the top over and close the bag properly, instead of stretching the film across the opening.

Are these bags suitable for garments?

Yes, they keep folded garments clean and dust-free, and the transparent film shows the item, its colour and its label, so staff and customers can see it without opening the bag.

Can the bag be reused?

The bag is open with no closure. With a clip it can be reopened and closed, though it is designed as packaging for single use. Used bags can go with other plastic film for recycling.

How do I check that this width is right?

Measure the folded product at its widest point and compare it with 18 cm. The gusset gives extra room in depth, but the width itself cannot stretch, so allow a small margin.
