The 14 x 4 x 35 cm gusseted bag sits right in the middle of the range, which is why so many businesses use it. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for gusseted bags in everyday sizes for vegetables, bundles and sets. It is transparent, open and food-safe.
Fourteen centimetres wide is broad enough for most bundles yet narrow enough to keep the bag tidy. Typical uses are leeks, spring onions and carrots, bundled asparagus, bunches of herbs, a set of brushes, rolls of tape or a pack of cables. If you are unsure which size to begin with, this is a sensible starting point for a trial.
Greengrocers and market traders use this size for fresh produce that is sold by the bunch. The 35 cm length holds the leafy tops of spring onions without folding them, while the gusset gives the bag a shape that does not crush the bundle. Because the film is suitable for direct food contact, no inner wrapper is needed.
In workshops and warehouses, the same bag keeps sets of items together: drill bits, files, hoses, cable ties and short profiles. The transparent film lets the picker confirm the content at once, so there is no need to open anything.
Close the bag with tape, a clip or a heat sealer, as it is not resealable. At 20 my the film is flexible and still resistant to light wear. LDPE is a recyclable plastic.

Not sure this is the right shape? Our range includes plastic bags without gusset, tubular film for sealing yourself, and many more gusseted bag sizes.
It is popular for bunches of vegetables and herbs, bundles of tools, sets of small products and printed items. The medium width balances capacity with a neat look when the bag is filled.
Most bunches fit in a 35 cm bag, with the green tops folded or just reaching the opening. Test with your own produce, as the thickness of a bunch varies from one grower to another.
For smooth tools and light sets, yes. For sharp or hard-edged goods, a 25 my bag is stiffer and more resistant to puncturing; that thickness is available in some other sizes.
Since the gusset gives the bag its own base, filled bags stand and stack more steadily than flat bags. Check the stability with your own goods and avoid stacking them too high.
