For mixed assortments

Not every business packs one product. If your range includes a bit of everything, from a pack of sausages to a bundle of carrots, this size copes with most of it. It takes a small loaf, a bundle of leeks, rolled-up placemats, kitchen utensils, paintbrushes, small lengths of ribbon and folded linen.

Kitchen and catering

Caterers and food producers use the bag for dry goods such as breadsticks, crackers and nuts in larger portions, and for utensils like spatulas or whisks. The film is suitable for direct food contact, so no extra inner packaging is needed.

Practical details

The 4 cm gusset opens as soon as you fill the bag, so it stands on a worktop. Fold the top over and close it with tape, a clip or a heat sealer; the bag is open and not resealable. The clear film lets you check labels and contents quickly.

This is the standard 20 my grade. Thicker film is stiffer and more resistant to tearing; thinner film is more economical for light goods. LDPE is recyclable. A punched version of the same size exists as a separate item.

Frequently asked questions

Why is 14 x 4 x 32 cm a good all-round size?

It is wide enough for bundles and medium products, and long enough to fold over comfortably. That makes it a sensible choice for mixed assortments where goods differ in size.

Can I pack utensils for catering?

Yes. Spatulas, whisks and similar items fit, and the film is suitable for food contact. Clean and dry the utensils first, and keep the bags in their box until you need them.

What if my product is a little too long?

Choose the next length up. A bag that is too short is hard to close; a few centimetres of spare length makes closing easy and keeps the product protected.

Does this bag come in other thicknesses?

This version is 20 my. Some other sizes also exist in 18 or 25 my. The thickness is always shown in the specification table, so you can compare before you order.
