Length is the main feature

At 35 cm this bag is long for its 10 cm width, and that is exactly what makes it useful. Screwdrivers, spanners, drill bits in a case, short rods and profiles, hoses, cables and bundled cutlery all lie comfortably inside. You pack one product, or a few of them, and the bag keeps them together and clean.

Gusset and volume

The 4 cm gusset is roomier than the one on the slimmest formats. When opened, the bag becomes a rectangular tube of around 10 x 4 cm in cross-section, which is enough for bundled goods like a few pencils, a set of brushes or a bunch of spring onions. For a wider bundle, look at the 14 and 18 cm widths.

Closing and handling

Since the bag is open and not resealable, close it with tape, a clip or a heat sealer. A good tip when you pack tools: fold the top over twice before taping, so the edge does not tear while the bag is carried. The transparent film lets you see the contents, which saves time when you pick orders or check goods in.

The film is food-safe, so the same bag can also hold breadsticks, dry pasta or herbs. LDPE can be recycled with other plastic film.

What kinds of tools fit this bag?

Slim hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers or short spanners fit well, as do rods, hoses and cables. Check that the longest item is shorter than 35 cm minus the part you need to fold over.

Is a 4 cm gusset enough for bundles?

The gusset lets the bag expand to roughly 10 x 4 cm in cross-section. That suits a bundle of pens, brushes or herbs. If your bundle is thicker than that, choose a wider bag.

Can the bag be used for food?

Yes, the LDPE film is suitable for direct food contact. Breadsticks, dried pasta, herbs and similar dry products can be packed without an inner wrapper, as long as the bag is kept clean.

What should I use to close it?

Tape, a bag clip or a heat sealer all work. The bag does not close by itself, so decide which method fits your packing process before ordering a large quantity.
