Pasta and dry goods

Regular spaghetti is often around 25 cm, so a 32 cm bag leaves comfortable room to fill and fold over. The same applies to small quantities of lasagne sheets, dry noodles or bundles of dried herbs. You can fill the bag by hand or pour from a scoop, and the 4 cm gusset keeps the opening wide.

Candles, tools and decoration

Dinner candles, garden stakes, small hand tools and craft rods also sit nicely in this length. Retailers use the bag to sell items as a set: three candles, a bundle of stakes or a pack of brushes. As the film is transparent, the buyer can see what is inside.

Handling advice

Fill the bag fully before you fold and seal, so the contents do not rattle. The bag is open and not resealable. Use tape, a clip or a heat sealer to close it.

Frequently asked questions

Will a 25 cm spaghetti pack fit in 32 cm?

Yes. A 32 cm length gives about 7 cm to spare, which is enough to fold the top over and close it with tape or a clip, or to seal it with a heat sealer.

Why choose 32 cm over 30 cm?

The two extra centimetres give a little more space for folding or for products that are just over 27 cm. If your product is shorter, the 30 cm bag fits more tightly and looks neater.

Are the bags suitable for retail display?

The transparent film shows the product, and the filled bag stands thanks to its gusset. You can add a label to the folded top for branding or product information, whichever you prefer.

Can I recycle empty bags?

LDPE is a recyclable plastic. Collect clean, empty bags with other plastic film and follow the collection rules that apply where you are. Remove tape or labels where this is practical.
