Where 30 cm makes the difference

Some products are just too long for a 27 cm bag once you add a fold-over. At 30 cm this size takes brushes and paint rollers, extension cables, folding rulers, long pencils, grissini and short pieces of pipe. In kitchens and catering, it also serves for bundled cutlery, skewers and wooden spoons.

How the gusset works here

The bag is 10 cm wide with a 4 cm gusset on the side. It opens to a stable rectangle, so the bag stands while you drop products in. That is useful on a packing table where one hand holds the bag and the other loads.

Choosing, closing, disposing

• Choose a length at least 3 cm longer than the product.
• Close with tape, a clip or a heat sealer; the bag is not resealable.
• The film is suitable for direct food contact.
• LDPE is recyclable: dispose of it with clean plastic film.

Because the film is clear, labels, colours and quantities can be checked without opening the bag. A box holds 1000 pieces. The 20 my film is flexible, and for goods with sharp ends a thicker grade is stiffer and more resistant to puncturing.

What goods suit a 30 cm gusseted bag?

Brushes, cables, rulers, skewers, cutlery sets and similar slim products. Measure the longest item and leave about 3 cm for folding over the top of the bag when you close it.

Is 30 cm too long for small items?

Small items would move around in the bag. For them, a shorter length gives a neater pack. This size is designed for goods that actually need the length, such as brushes or cables.

Can I use this bag for kitchen utensils?

Yes, for example wooden spoons or skewers. The film is suitable for direct food contact, so it can hold utensils that touch food. Clean and dry the utensils before you bag them.

What closes the bag best?

It depends on your process. Tape and clips are quick for small runs, while a heat sealer gives a neat, tight closure for larger quantities. The bag has no closure of its own.
