Room for volume in a slim bag

Compared with the 2.25 and 2.5 cm gussets, the 4 cm gusset lets this bag take noticeably more volume. The cross-section opens to a rectangle of about 10 x 4 cm, enough for bunches of parsley, chives or basil, a few carrots, a handful of radishes or a bundle of pens and markers.

Fresh herbs and vegetables

Growers and greengrocers like this size for portion bunches. The film is clear, so the freshness of the produce is visible, and the bag is food-safe. The 27 cm length gives room for the leaves while the base stays stable. Note that the bag is not resealable: close it with tape, a clip or a heat sealer.

Non-food uses

For crafts and technical goods, the deeper gusset suits boxes of nails, rolls of tape, brushes, rulers or small bundles of cable. The bag stands on its base and stays open while you fill it, which speeds up packing.

The 20 my thickness is a good balance of flexibility and strength. For sharper contents, a thicker bag is stiffer and more tear-resistant. LDPE is recyclable. This size is also available as a punched version, which is listed separately.
