White Nichiban® tape 50 mm x 50 m

White Nichiban® tape (50 mm x 50 m) is a professional gaffer tape of Japanese manufacture, type NT1200, with a strong cloth backing and high adhesion. The tape adheres firmly, yet can be removed cleanly after use without adhesive residue – it is precisely this combination that sets Nichiban® apart from ordinary duct tape. White is easy to write on and therefore suitable for marking, labelling and coding. The 50 mm width is the versatile standard size for general fixing and finishing work.

Applications and sectors

Thanks to its strong adhesion and clean removal, this Nichiban® tape is used in a wide range of industries, including for:

• stage, lighting and sound engineering;
• temporary repairs to sea containers, vehicles and machines;

How do you recognise genuine Nichiban® tape?

Genuine Nichiban® tape always has a printed core bearing the text Nichiban®. If that print is missing from the core, it is not genuine Nichiban® and the tape lacks the characteristic adhesion and clean removal.

Yes, the top layer is easy to write on with a marker, which is handy for marking, labelling and coding.

How does Nichiban® differ from ordinary duct tape?

Nichiban® has a high-quality cloth backing, high adhesion and leaves no adhesive residue on removal. Ordinary duct tape is cheaper but can leave residue when removed.

How do I recognise genuine Nichiban® tape?

By the printed core: genuine Nichiban® always has the text Nichiban® on the core. A blank core means it is not genuine Nichiban® and therefore does not have the same properties.
