The properties of duct tape

Duct tape consists of a linen (fabric) backing with a solvent adhesive layer, which provides high adhesion on virtually any surface. The tape is water-resistant and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Handy: you simply tear duct tape to the desired length by hand, without scissors or a knife. The extra strong version has a denser weave (70 mesh) and is made for heavier jobs.

Our duct tape range

Thirteen colours, including fluorescent

Besides the classic grey (silver) duct tape, we supply black, white, blue and green, among others, plus a range of bright fluorescent colours such as pink, orange, green, yellow and blue. This way you use duct tape not only to repair, but also to mark, code or signal.

Widths and lengths

The tape is available in 50 mm and 96 mm widths and in rolls of 25 or 50 metres. For larger surfaces or firm seams, choose the wide 96 mm; for general use, the 50 mm is sufficient.

Standard or extra strong

For everyday jobs, the standard duct tape does the job. If you need more grip and pulling strength, choose the extra strong version with a higher weave density.

Per roll or economically by the box

You order duct tape as a single roll or, for high consumption, economically by the box (for example 12 or 24 rolls). This way you always have stock at the sharpest price.

What is the difference between standard and extra strong duct tape?
