Blue Nichiban® tape 38 mm x 50 m

Blue Nichiban® tape (38 mm x 50 m) is a professional gaffer tape of Japanese manufacture, type NT1200, with a strong cloth backing and high adhesion. The tape adheres firmly, yet can be removed cleanly after use without adhesive residue – it is precisely this combination that sets Nichiban® apart from ordinary duct tape. Blue is a calm, easily recognisable coding colour that stands apart from the warm signal colours. At 38 mm this is a slightly narrower version, convenient for targeted work along edges and on narrower surfaces.

Applications and sectors

Thanks to its strong adhesion and clean removal, this Nichiban® tape is used in a wide range of industries, including for:

• assembling and temporarily sealing air ducts;
• stage, lighting and sound engineering;
• temporary repairs to sea containers, vehicles and machines;
• colour-coding cables, zones and materials;
