Blue Nichiban® tape 19 mm x 50 m

Blue Nichiban® tape (19 mm x 50 m) is a professional gaffer tape of Japanese manufacture, type NT1200, with a strong cloth backing and high adhesion. The tape adheres firmly, yet can be removed cleanly after use without adhesive residue – it is precisely this combination that sets Nichiban® apart from ordinary duct tape. Blue is a calm, easily recognisable coding colour that stands apart from the warm signal colours. At 19 mm wide this is a narrow version, ideally suited to cable identification and fine marking work.

Frequently asked questions

Is this width suitable for cable identification?

Yes, the narrow strip is ideal for making cable flags and keeping cables distinguishable from one another without excess material.

How does Nichiban® differ from ordinary duct tape?

Nichiban® has a high-quality cloth backing, high adhesion and leaves no adhesive residue on removal. Ordinary duct tape is cheaper but can leave residue when removed.

Can I apply the tape without tools?

Yes, the cloth backing tears by hand both lengthwise and crosswise, so you can work to size straight away without scissors or a knife.
