Black Nichiban® tape (150 mm x 50 m) is a professional gaffer tape of Japanese manufacture, type NT1200, with a strong cloth backing and high adhesion. The tape adheres firmly, yet can be removed cleanly after use without adhesive residue – it is precisely this combination that sets Nichiban® apart from ordinary duct tape. Black is inconspicuous and therefore the trusted standard on stage, set and in the studio. At 150 mm this is the extra-wide version, ideal for seamlessly taping dance floors and wide seams.

Applications and sectors

Thanks to its strong adhesion and clean removal, this Nichiban® tape is used in a wide range of industries, including for:

• temporary repairs to sea containers, vehicles and machines;
• concealing and fixing cables on walkways at trade fairs and exhibitions;
• fixing carpet, cable mats and dance floors;
