HDPE Tarpaulin – 6m x 8m, 140 g/m²

This high quality 6m x 8m (48m²) HDPE tarpaulin is designed to withstand the toughest conditions and provides excellent protection for a variety of applications. Weighing 140gsm, this tarpaulin is lightweight yet exceptionally strong and durable. Ideal for both industrial and domestic applications where robustness and reliability are essential.

Technical Specifications

  • Dimensions: 6m x 8m (48m²), ideal for covering medium sized objects and surfaces.
  • Material weight: 140 g/m², which provides an excellent balance between lightness and strength.
  • Tensile strength: 857N/5cm, tested according to ISO 13937-1, guarantees that this tarpaulin can withstand heavy loads without tearing.
  • Tear resistance: 187N/5cm, also tested according to ISO 13937-1, provides additional protection against tearing under tension.
  • Temperature Resistance: Withstands temperatures from -40ºC to +80ºC, making it suitable for use in a wide range of climatic conditions.

Construction and Material

  • HDPE Tape Fabric: The cover is made of strong and lightweight HDPE material, which combines durability with a low weight.
  • 2-sided LDPE Coating: This coating provides extra protection against moisture and UV radiation, significantly extends the life of the cover.
  • All-round Welded Hem: The welded hem with PP cord reinforcement provides extra strength, especially in the critical edge areas.
  • Aluminium mounting eye: Every metre there is an aluminium mounting eye with an inner Ø of 12mm, which makes it easy to secure the cover securely.

Thanks to its high tensile and tear resistance, as well as its temperature resistance, this tarpaulin is suitable for almost any environment and situation.
