How do you fasten a cable tie?

Fastening is quick: guide the strap around the bundle, push the pointed end through the head and pull. The ratchet closure grips automatically and will not let go. For a tight, even tension and a neat, flush cut, use a cable tie plier.

Can I reuse the cable tie?

No, the self-locking ratchet closure is permanent and therefore for single use. Cutting is required to remove the strap.

Are black cable ties suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, the black version contains a UV-stabilising additive and is therefore resistant to sunlight. Natural/white ties are mainly intended for indoor use.
