What is a tubular film sealer?

A tubular film sealer is a sealing device that melts the open end of tubular film shut. Because tubular film is tubular in shape, you simply cut off the length you need and seal the ends; this lets you make bags and covers exactly to measure. A sealer works faster and neater than closing by hand and delivers a tight, reliable seam.

Combine your sealer with tubular film

A sealer works best in combination with our tubular film on a roll:

Tubular film up to 30 cm wide — for small made-to-measure bags
Tubular film from 30 to 60 cm wide — for made-to-measure covers
Tubular film from 60 cm wide — for large applications
Black tubular film — for light-tight packaging
Tubular film dispenser — for convenient unrolling and cutting

Frequently asked questions about the tubular film sealer

How does a tubular film sealer work?

The sealer heats the film along the edge and melts it together. This creates a strong, watertight closure in one movement, faster and neater than sealing by hand.

Which tubular film is the sealer suitable for?

The sealer is suitable for our LDPE tubular film, both transparent and black and in various widths and thicknesses.

Do I need anything besides a sealer?

For convenient unrolling and cutting to size, combine the sealer with a tubular film dispenser. Together they make the packaging process considerably more efficient.
