This single roll of mini wrapping film measures 10 cm wide, 150 metres long and 20 my thick, and is supplied without a dispenser. That is deliberate: if you already own the plastic handle from an earlier set, there is no reason to buy another one. You pay for film alone. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for narrow wrapping film on the roll, so the quality of the refill is exactly the same.

The dispenser is reusable and lasts for years. The core of this roll is identical to the one in the set with dispenser, so the handle you already have slides straight on. When a roll runs out, pull the empty core off and push the new roll on – a job of seconds.

For anyone who previously bought a set with dispenser and now needs film only, and for businesses that keep one handle per packing bench while topping up their roll stock separately. It is equally useful when you want to reorder without another handle arriving in the box that you will never use.

Changing the roll on your dispenser

Pull the empty core off the handle and put it out with the waste paper. Slide the new roll on until it turns freely and lay the first turn twice over the same spot. Then work with roughly a third of overlap per turn and finish where you started.

If the film feels heavier to pay out than usual, the roll has been pushed too far against the handle. Half a centimetre of play is enough to get it turning smoothly again.

Can I use the roll without a handle?
