Black mini wrapping film, 10 cm wide

Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for mini wrapping film, and the black version holds a place of its own in that range. This roll is 10 cm wide, 150 metres long and 23 my thick. The pigment makes the film completely opaque: whatever you wrap is no longer recognisable from the outside. The box of 24 rolls comes with a dispenser.

The narrow 10 cm web is easy to steer around smaller goods. You lay the film tightly around a box, a drawer or a bundle without having to fold surplus material around the corners.

Why black rather than transparent?

As soon as a shipment is theft-prone or confidential, the risk sits in the contents, not in the packaging. Think of electronics on a roll cage, customer samples leaving the building, files moving between departments, or goods you would rather nobody identified on a tail lift. With this film, all anyone sees from the outside is an even black parcel.

A box of 24 rolls is not an emergency supply but a working supply. Put it under or beside the packing bench, keep one roll in the dispenser and the rest within reach. That way no parcel ever waits because the film has run out, and you do not have to think about reordering with every shipment.

The dispenser stays in service for as long as the plastic is intact; you only swap the roll. Running two packing stations? Simply add a spare dispenser to your order so each position has its own handle.

Frequently asked questions

Is a single layer genuinely opaque?

Under normal indoor lighting you will not make out any contours through one layer. If you wrap against strong backlight, apply the usual two to three turns; the overlap then makes coverage complete in any case.

Can black wrapping film go in the film waste stream?

The material is LLDPE, the same as clear wrapping film. However, black plastics are recognised less reliably by the optical sorter on some recycling lines. Ask your waste contractor how they want black film presented; a separate bag within the same film stream is often enough.

How many turns does a 10 cm web need?

Two to three turns are enough for bundling. If you are screening a load from view, overlap is what counts: wrap in a spiral with roughly half a web of overlap so no gap is left between the passes.

Why 10 cm and not wider?

10 cm is lighter in the hand and follows small shapes more closely. If you have larger surfaces to close off, a 12.5 cm web gets you there faster; you will find that width in the same category.
