This box holds 24 rolls of transparent mini wrapping film, 10 cm wide, 150 metres long and 23 my thick, with the dispenser supplied. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for mini wrapping film in bulk packaging, and this is the version that most often ends up in production and dispatch departments.

The difference from the thinner grades is tension. Where 20 my is fine for bundles that simply stand still, 23 my keeps the wrap tight when the bundle is lifted, loaded onto a roll cage or moved by road. The film gives way less, which means fewer turns for the same hold.

Typical applications

Bundling pipes, mouldings, battens and profiles; keeping order lines together so they leave as one set; securing drawers, doors and loose furniture parts in transit; and protecting handles or edges against scratches. The film clings only to itself, so no adhesive residue or staples end up on the product.

Keeping the box workable

Store the box dry and out of direct sunlight, and take out one roll at a time; the remaining rolls stay dust-free and keep their cling. Give the dispenser a fixed spot on the packing bench rather than carrying it around, and it will always be to hand. For a second workstation, order an extra handle separately.

When wrapping, the rule is simple: double the first turn, overlap each following turn by about a third, and finish where you started. A little thumb pressure on the roll adds stretch and therefore metres per roll.

How should I store the rolls I am not using yet?

Leave them in the box, at room temperature and away from sunlight. Film stored cold or damp stretches less far and clings less well.

Is the supplied dispenser reusable?

Yes. The plastic handle fits any mini roll with the same core, so you simply carry on using it once the box is empty.
