Blue film dispenser for mini stretch film

Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for mini wrapping film and the tools that go with it. This item is not film, but the accessory you unwind it with: a plastic handle with a free-running axle, supplied in blue and sold per piece.

The dispenser is designed for mini rolls with a 38 mm core and a roll length of up to 14 cm. Slide the axle through the core, click the handle shut and you can start wrapping straight away. The mini wrapping film itself is ordered separately.

Why wrapping with a dispenser is easier on you

Without a dispenser you grip the roll in your fist and turn with your whole arm; the film rubs along your fingers and your wrist tilts on every turn. With this dispenser the roll spins freely on the axle and only your arm moves. You control tension with your thumb on the flange: more thumb pressure means more braking, more stretch and a tighter bundle. That saves effort and keeps the load on wrist and hand low, even at hundreds of parcels a day.

How to use the dispenser

Slide the axle through the core of the roll until the flanges sit flush. Hold the handle and apply the first turn without stretch. Then build up tension by resting your thumb on the flange and braking the roll slightly. Finish with a double turn and tear the film off with a short diagonal pull. When the roll runs out, pull the axle free and slide a new roll on.

Which rolls does this dispenser fit?

Mini rolls with a 38 mm core and a roll length of no more than 14 cm. Rolls wider than 14 cm will not fit between the flanges.

Is film included?

No, you receive the dispenser only. Order the rolls separately under mini wrapping film; some boxes already include a dispenser.

How do I control the tension?

With your thumb on the flange. Light pressure gives little stretch and a soft wrap; firmer pressure brakes the roll, so the film stretches further and the bundle sits tighter.

How long will it last?

Years. The dispenser is made of impact-resistant plastic and has no wearing parts to replace, so you keep using it roll after roll.
