Some products are simply too long for a standard freezer bag, and that is exactly what this 15 x 4.5 x 45 cm bag is made for. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for freezer bags, and we supply this extra-long version in clear 50 micron LDPE.

Extra length where you need it

A baguette, a smoked sausage, a bunch of leeks, a whole mackerel or a roll of cookie dough: at 45 cm long, you can pack them whole without cutting them up first. Presentation stays intact and there is less prep before the product goes into the freezer.

Room to bundle several portions

You can also use the long bag to bundle several smaller portions together, such as bags of herbs or sauces per dish. If you need bags without a gusset for flat products, take a look at our plastic bags.

Will a whole baguette fit in this freezer bag?

A standard baguette fits in whole. For extra-long baguettes, simply cut the bread in half once.

How does it differ from the 70 micron version in the same size?

The 70 micron bag has a thicker film that better resists sharp fish bones and meat bones. For bread, vegetables and sausages, 50 micron is sufficient.

Can I shorten the bag if it is too long?

Yes, fold over the excess length or twist the neck a few times before closing the bag.
