Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for tape dispensers, and this model stands out for one reason: the magnet on the back. It clamps onto a forklift mast, a racking upright, a roll cage or the steel edge of a packing bench — wherever the work happens. The dispenser takes rolls up to 50 mm wide with a 76 mm core diameter.

What the magnetic backing adds

A fixed spot in a moving warehouse

A loose dispenser ends up under a stack of cartons or travels off with a colleague. The magnetic back gives it a permanent home on any ferromagnetic surface: forklift mast, racking upright, steel worktop or picking trolley.

Impact-resistant housing

The housing is moulded from impact-resistant plastic in blue/white. The serrated blade cuts the tape off straight and the pressure roller lays the strip down onto the carton in one pass. Rolls change over without tools.

Built around standard carton-sealing tape

The dispenser is dimensioned for rolls of 48 to 50 mm — the standard width in our packaging tape range. Both PP tape (solvent, hot melt or acrylic) and PVC tape run through it smoothly.

Where it earns its place

• Forklifts and order pickers: the dispenser rides along on the mast or frame, so a carton can be sealed on the spot.
• Racking and roll containers: fix it to the upright at the pick face where repacking happens most.
• Steel-framed packing benches: always within reach without taking up bench space.
• Returns handling and workshops: for cartons that have to be closed again between jobs.

Getting the best out of it

Pick the right surface

The magnet grips best on smooth, bare or thinly painted steel. On thick powder coating, aluminium or high-nickel stainless steel the holding force drops — worth checking before you hang the dispenser up with a full roll fitted.

Changing a roll

Lift the dispenser off the metal, slide the empty core off the spindle, fit the new roll with the adhesive side facing out and feed the tape over the pressure roller towards the blade. Other versions — braked, loop-style or for wider rolls — are in our tape dispensers category.

Frequently asked questions

How strong is the magnet?

It holds the dispenser with a full roll of tape fitted on a flat steel surface. Where there is vibration — on a moving forklift, for instance — choose a position where the dispenser cannot knock against other parts.

Will it hold on aluminium or stainless steel?

No. Aluminium is not magnetic and many stainless grades (AISI 304, for example) barely are. Use ordinary steel; holding a magnet against the surface for a second tells you straight away.

Can I use 48 mm tape in it?

Yes. The dispenser is built for rolls up to 50 mm wide, so the common 48 mm carton-sealing tape fits without issue.

Why does the 76 mm core matter?

The spindle is sized for that core. Rolls with a smaller core — 25 mm office tape, for example — will not sit on the spindle.

Can the magnet be removed?

No, it is built into the back of the housing. That also means there are no protruding parts when you use the dispenser handheld.
