Steel band AW - 19mm x 0.5mm - 48 to 50 kilos per roll

Steel strapping AW 19 mm black lacquered: our strongest strapping band

When the job is truly heavy, you choose 19 mm. With a width of 19 mm, a thickness of 0.5 mm and a tensile strength of 800 kg, this is the strongest black lacquered steel strapping in our range – made for loads where lighter bands fall short. The wide band spreads the tension over a larger surface, so sharp edges and heavy blocks are less likely to cut through the strapping. Ordered on working days before 3:30 PM? Then your order will be shipped the same day.

American winding: made for machine strapping

American winding (AW) differs from single winding in how the roll is built up: several layers lie slightly over one another, producing a thicker coil that automatic strapping machines process without snagging. Single-wound rolls are intended for manual strapping. So for high-volume production with 19 mm, AW is the logical choice.

The right finishing for 800 kg

A band that has to hold 800 kg calls for an equally strong connection. Close 19 mm steel strapping with heavy-duty seals and a matching tensioner or a sealless steel strapping tool. Need lighter sizes? The same band is also available in 12 mm and 16 mm. Browse the full range of strapping band.

Frequently asked questions

Is 19 mm the strongest steel strapping you supply?

Yes. At 19 mm wide with 800 kg tensile strength, this is our widest and strongest band, intended for the heaviest loads.

Why 19 mm instead of 16 mm or 12 mm?

The heavier, sharper or more critical the load, the wider the band you need. 19 mm spreads the tension over a larger surface and offers the greatest safety margin.

Is this roll suitable for automatic strapping machines?

Yes, American winding (AW) is made specifically for machine strapping and ensures smooth feeding.
