The 12 mm wide steel strapping is the narrowest in our AW range and, with a tensile strength of 540 kg, offers ample power for bundling, packaging and securing heavy goods. Because the band is narrow, a 48 to 50 kg roll holds more metres – a real advantage if you strap in high volumes. Ordered on working days before 3:30 PM? American winding: for machine strapping

With American winding (AW), the band is wound in several slightly overlapping layers into a thicker coil. This coil shape is tailored to automatic strapping machines, which feed the band through without snagging. Single-wound rolls – one tight layer – are intended for manual strapping. If you work with a machine, this AW version is the right choice.

Finishing and other sizes

Close the band with seals and a tensioner or with a sealless steel strapping tool. Need more power? The same black lacquered band is also available in 16 mm and 19 mm. You will find the full range under our strapping band.
