Where this size earns its keep

Door manufacturers slide this profile over solid interior and exterior doors. Frame makers use it to protect assembled window frames right up to the moment of installation. And in machine building it prevents damage to machined metal parts with edges in this size class.

Specifications

Tip: protect curved sections too

Does your product have rounded or continuous edges? The Nomapack O profile wraps fully around tubes and round components. You will find every shape and size clearly listed among our Nomapack foam profiles.

Tip: secure the profile on long transport routes

The profile clamps on by itself. If the shipment is travelling far or being transhipped several times, tape the ends down with packaging tape for absolute certainty.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the foam thicker on this size?

Products with edges of 45-60 mm are usually heavier. The 14 mm foam wall absorbs the bigger impacts that come with that weight.

How many doors can I protect with one box?

A box contains 50 strips of 200 cm, 100 metres in total. A standard door of 231 x 93 cm takes roughly 6.5 metres, so one box protects around 15 doors on all sides.

Will the profile stay in place on lacquered doors?

Yes. The clamping force of the tulip shape keeps the profile where it belongs, even on smooth lacquer. And the foam leaves no impressions or adhesive residue.
