Specifications

Applications and sectors

Corrugated cardboard on a roll is widely used as a flexible protective and packaging material, for example for:

• separating products as an interleaf between layers of boxes on a pallet;
• surface protection of furniture, tabletops, chair legs and profiles;
• filling and reinforcing boxes when shipping heavy items;
• lining the bottom of a pallet or box as an underlay;

The material is used, among others, in logistics and fulfilment, the removals and storage sector, and the glass, ceramics and art sector.

How do you use corrugated cardboard from the roll?

Roll off the corrugated cardboard and tear or cut off a piece large enough to wrap the product generously. Wrap the cardboard in one or more layers around the item, with the fluted side facing inwards for the best cushioning, and secure it with, for example, paper tape. For large or heavy shipments, place the cardboard as an interleaf or underlay between the product layers. After use, the cardboard simply goes with the waste paper.

Frequently asked questions

What material is this corrugated cardboard made of?

The corrugated cardboard consists of two layers of 70 g/m² paper and is made 100% from recycled material. The fluted structure between the layers provides the shock-absorbing effect.

How do I cut or tear the corrugated cardboard to size?

You roll off the desired length and tear the cardboard off by hand, or cut it with a knife along a straight edge. This lets you quickly make a made-to-measure piece for every product.

Does corrugated cardboard protect against scratches and impacts?

The fluted structure absorbs impacts and vibrations and the paper outer layer prevents scratches, making the cardboard suitable for delicate and sensitive surfaces.
