Printed barrier tape in 1 colour

Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for printed barrier tape. A single-colour print does more than close off an area: it shows at a glance who put the cordon there, because your company name, logo or warning message runs along the full length of the roll. The tape is produced from tear-resistant LDPE film of 60 microns, so it stays taut in wind and rain without stretching.

Printing in one colour is the most economical option. Only one print pass is needed, which keeps set-up costs low – ideal when a clean logo or a short, highly legible message is all you need.

What is printed barrier tape used for?

Printed barrier tape marks temporary boundaries: an excavation, a reserved parking bay, a closed walkway or a hazard zone in the warehouse. Because there is text on it, nobody has to guess why an area is cordoned off – think of “No entry”, “Work in progress” or your own company name as the point of contact.

Recognition and safety in one

Contractors, utility companies, event organisers and security services use their own tape because it immediately identifies who set up the cordon. In sponsorship the same principle works in reverse: along a route or around a festival site, your logo is visible over hundreds of metres.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use

The LDPE film is water-resistant and copes well with wind, rain and sunlight. Outdoors you span the tape between barrier posts, fencing or trees; indoors you simply fix it with tape or cable ties.

Choosing your tape and ink colour

If you choose white barrier tape, any print colour is possible – giving your corporate identity the greatest freedom. On red, yellow, green, blue or orange tape we normally print in black, as this offers the highest contrast. Black tape is printed with gold, silver or bronze ink, which gives a strikingly representative result for openings and exhibition stands.

How your print is produced

1. You send us your logo or text, preferably as a vector file.
2. We send you a print layout at actual width.
3. Once you approve it, the tape goes into production.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Frequently asked questions about 1-colour printed barrier tape

Can I have my own logo printed?

Yes. You supply your logo or text and we turn it into a print layout. With a single-colour print your logo is converted into one solid ink colour; gradients and photographic images are not possible.

Which width should I choose?

75 mm is ordered most often and offers enough height for a logo with a short message. For longer texts or a large emblem, 100 mm or wider works better; 50 mm is sufficient when only a company name runs along the tape.

How often is the print repeated along the roll?

The print runs continuously along the entire roll. The distance between two repeats depends on the length of your text or logo and is shown in the print layout you approve beforehand.

Is the tape suitable for prolonged outdoor use?

The tape is designed for temporary cordons. For a period of several weeks to months outdoors it performs excellently; for permanent marking we recommend fixed signage.

Can the tape be reused?

If you unroll and re-roll it carefully, the same tape can be used several times. As long as it has been kept taut and undamaged, the print remains clearly legible.
