Why you still want the heavy version in a pack of five

A blanket that only comes out of the van occasionally tends to face the hardest jobs: the one large item that has to travel and must arrive undamaged. At 1300 grams per blanket the weave is dense enough to carry a ratchet strap without splitting, and rough enough to stay put on a lacquered or veneered surface instead of sliding off. The blanket is woven from a mix of fabrics including wool and hemmed all round, so the edges do not fray with repeated folding. Washing is possible at a maximum of 30 °C. For the rest of the job, combine these blankets with corner profiles on vulnerable corners, floor protectors in the stairwell and moving boxes for loose parts.

What do I do with a blanket that got wet during the job?

Hang it loosely, ideally over a rack or a sack truck, and let it dry completely before it goes back into the stack. Textile folded away wet starts to smell musty, and that smell transfers to the next item you wrap in it. If the blanket is dirty as well, wash it at a maximum of 30 °C.
