Why these plastic-coated loop tie wire?

The green PVC coating protects both the tie and the material beneath it and makes it weatherproof. For a bare metal closure, choose galvanised loop tie wire or copper-coated loop tie wire.

How to use plastic-coated loop tie wire

Wrap the tie around the object you want to fasten and bring the two loops together. Push the hook of the wire tie tool through both loops and move the tool back and forth a few times; the wire twists and closes firmly. A wire tie tool is essential here: closing the ties by hand is simply not practical.

What is this length best suited to?

The 220 mm length is handy for bundling pipes and conduits and tying up plants. For heavier bundles, choose a longer size.

Do I need a tool to close them?

Yes. You close the tie with a wire tie tool: hook it through both loops and pull it back and forth several times so the wire twists around itself and locks. Closing them by hand is not workable.

Can I order smaller quantities?

These ties are offered per roll of 1,000 pieces. Need a different quantity or size? Please get in touch.
