Our galvanised loop tie wires are made of high-quality steel wire finished with a durable zinc coating. That galvanising protects the wire against corrosion, so the ties keep performing reliably in damp environments and during prolonged outdoor use. Each wire has a loop at both ends. You place the tie around the object and bend the two loops towards each other; you then close it with a wire tie tool, creating a fast, secure closure without knots.

Galvanised loop ties strike an excellent balance between durability and cost. The zinc layer gives strong protection against rust, making these ties ideal for prolonged outdoor use and damp conditions. Compared with copper-coated loop ties, galvanised versions are usually more economical, while being more robust than plastic-coated loop ties, whose coating can wear over time. If you simply need a reliable, strong closure at a sharp price, the galvanised version is often the logical choice.
Ideal for bundling and securing building materials such as reinforcing steel, pipes and conduits – with lasting protection, even on site.
Perfect for fixing plants, flowers and young trees to stakes or fencing, giving firm support without damaging the plant.
For securely closing bags and holding products in place during transport.
Handy for organising cables, hanging decorations and all kinds of home projects.
Place the tie around the object you want to fasten and bend the two loops towards each other. Hook the hook of the wire tie tool through both loops and pull the tool back and forth several times. This twists the wire around itself so it pulls tight and locks. A wire tie tool is essential here: closing the ties by hand is simply not practical.

They are used to close bags and to bundle or secure materials – widely in construction, horticulture and packaging. The galvanising makes them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Wrap the tie around the object, bend the two loops towards each other and close it with a wire tie tool: hook the tool through both loops and pull it back and forth several times, so the wire twists around itself and locks. Closing them by hand is not workable.
Choose the length based on the size of the object and the thickness based on the holding force required. Lighter bags need a thinner wire; bundles or reinforcing steel call for a longer, thicker tie.
Galvanised ties are economical and rust-resistant, copper-coated ties are especially supple to work with, and plastic-coated ties carry an extra protective plastic layer. The right choice depends on budget, environment and desired finish.
Yes. The zinc layer protects the steel wire against corrosion, so the ties remain reliable in damp conditions and outdoors over the long term.
