Plastic pallets are a light, clean and durable alternative to the wooden pallet. They weigh considerably less, absorb no moisture and are easy to clean, which makes them ideal for applications where hygiene or a low weight matters. At Kortpack you choose from two sizes of polypropylene pallets — 60 × 40 cm and 80 × 60 cm — both stackable and ready for immediate use in warehouse, transport and export.

Why choose a plastic pallet?

A wooden pallet quickly weighs more than 20 kilos; a plastic pallet is much lighter and therefore easier to handle. Plastic pallets do not rot, do not splinter and absorb neither moisture nor odours, which makes them excellent for the food, pharma and cleaning sectors. They are easy to rinse and therefore reusable. In addition, plastic pallets do not need to be heat-treated (ISPM-15), which makes them ideal for international shipments.

Which plastic pallets does Kortpack offer?

Plastic pallet – 60 × 40 × 14 cm

This compact black export pallet of 60 × 40 cm weighs only around 5 kg and has a load capacity of approximately 500 kg. Thanks to its low weight and small size, this is the pallet for lighter shipments, displays and export. Delivered in packs of 5.

Plastic pallet – 80 × 60 × 14 cm

The black/grey plastic pallet of 80 × 60 cm has the handy half-Euro-pallet size and is made from recycled material. With a dynamic load capacity of around 600 kg and a static load capacity of around 900 kg, it suits sturdier loads. Lightweight, stackable and delivered in packs of 5.

What do dynamic and static load capacity mean?

The dynamic load capacity applies when the pallet is moved with a load; the static load capacity applies when the pallet is stationary, for example stacked in racking. For the 80 × 60 cm this is around 600 kg dynamic and 900 kg static.

Are the pallets stackable and reusable?

Yes. The pallets are stackable to save space and, thanks to the rinsable polypropylene, can be used several times.
