Cover-it® Pro Air – breathable protective fleece

The Cover-it® Pro Air is a breathable, self-adhesive protective fleece with a 15 g/m² multi-layer membrane, specially for covering newly laid or fresh floors that need to breathe. This prevents staining caused by trapped moisture (vapours and residual moisture). The roll is 100 cm wide and covers 50 m².

• Specially for covering and protecting newly laid or freshly glued floors, such as natural stone, parquet, laminate, floor tile, poured, plastic and tiled floors.
• Protecting newly laid or freshly glued stair treads.
• Also suitable for covering and protecting existing floors and stairs.
• Covering surfaces that have just been glued, sealed, lacquered or levelled (adhesive, sealant, epoxy, lacquer, concrete and cement work).

Application conditions

• Usage period max. 30 days, once the floor is walkable and/or loadable.
• Application temperature between +10 °C and +25 °C, at a relative humidity of 50 to 60%.
• Apply in strips with an overlap of min. 5 cm to max. 10 cm, on a clean, dry and dust-free surface; switch off any underfloor heating.

Why a breathable protective fleece?

Newly laid or fresh floors need to breathe. The breathable membrane lets vapour and residual moisture escape, preventing crystallisation, staining and blistering from trapped moisture.

How long may the fleece stay in place?

The usage period is a maximum of 30 days, once the floor is walkable and/or loadable.

Under what conditions do I apply the fleece?

At an application temperature between +10 °C and +25 °C and a relative humidity of 50 to 60%, on a clean, dry and dust-free surface.

How do I lay the strips?

In strips with an overlap of min. 5 cm to max. 10 cm. Switch off any underfloor heating.

Is the top liquid-tight?

Yes. The top is liquid-tight, ideal when working with liquids, while the underside keeps breathing.
