Outdoors, bundles tend to be bigger: the string cables of a PV system, a garden hose along a fence or a bundle of cables on a mast. The TY300-50X-100 offers the length and the UV resistance these jobs need. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for Thomas & Betts cable ties, and we supply this black 302 x 4.6 mm tie in a bag of 100 with a euro hang hole. It wraps around bundles from 3 to 76 mm in diameter.

The material is black polyamide 6.6, UV resistant and heat stabilised, halogen and silicone free and rated UL 94 V-2. Like all Ty-Fast models, it has a moulded plastic pawl in the head that accepts the strap with little insertion force and then holds it firmly. Its length makes this tie particularly suitable for outdoor work where you fix cables to posts, pipes or frames. The double-sided finger grip helps when tightening, even when wearing work gloves.

Can the TY300-50X-100 stay outdoors all year round?

The black, UV-resistant polyamide is made for outdoor use and copes well with sun and weather. For installations that will hang in full sun continuously for years, such as on flat roofs, we recommend extra UV-resistant ties for an even greater margin.

What is the benefit of the low, rounded head?

A low head protrudes less, so it is less likely to snag on clothing, tools or other cables. It also sits neatly against the bundle for a tidy finish.

Can I also use it to fix hoses and pipes?

Yes, as long as the diameter stays within 3 to 76 mm. Do not overtighten the tie on soft hoses, so that the flow is not restricted. For heavy pipes or high loads, a wider heavy duty tie is the better choice.
