Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for Thomas & Betts cable ties, and we supply the TY175-50X-100 in a bag of 100 with a euro hang hole. With a length of 186 mm and a 4.6 mm strap, it secures bundles up to 44 mm in diameter.

The tie is made of black, UV-resistant and heat-stabilised polyamide 6.6, free of halogens and silicone. It locks by means of a plastic pawl moulded into the head, typical of the Ty-Fast range: the strap is easy to insert and then holds firmly. For prolonged exposure to intense sun, on flat roofs for example, our extra UV-resistant cable ties offer an extra margin.

What can I secure with a tensile strength of 222 N?

222 N corresponds to approx. 23 kg. This is the load at which the lock holds according to the manufacturer; it is not a lifting or carrying weight. For bundling and fixing cables, hoses and light pipes it is more than enough.

How do I trim the excess tail neatly?

Cut the tail just behind the head with cable tie pliers or side cutters. A tool with a flush-cut function avoids sharp edges that could later cause injuries or chafe against cables.

Why choose the bag of 100 instead of the TY175-50X?

The TY175-50X is the same black tie, but in a pack of 1000. The bag of 100 is more convenient if you only use this size occasionally or want to split stock across several service vans.
