The TYZ523M is the compact 92 mm Tefzel® tie, packed in bags of 100. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for Thomas & Betts cable ties, and this small bag lets you keep a few high-performance ties to hand without tying up money in stock.

The ETFE fluoropolymer, known at ABB as Tefzel®, stays stable between -45 °C and +150 °C and resists radiation and most chemicals. A 316 stainless steel barb in the head locks the strap permanently. Because the material is silicone-free and non-outgassing, the tie leaves no residue on sensitive surfaces. What is the TYZ523M used for?

With a bundle range of 1.5 to 22 mm and 80 N tensile strength, this is a tie for fine wiring. The bag of 100 is especially convenient if you only need this size now and then.

Frequently asked questions about the TYZ523M

Why choose the bag of 100?

The TYZ523M is identical to the TYZ23M, just packed in 100s instead of 1000s. If you only use this size occasionally, the small bag avoids expensive leftover stock sitting on the shelf.

Why does it matter that the tie is silicone-free?

Silicone residues can cause problems with painting, bonding and coating, and can contaminate sensitive optics or contacts. A silicone-free tie removes that risk in production and laboratory environments.

Can I release the TYZ523M again?

No. The stainless steel barb locks the strap permanently; to remove the tie, you cut it. That is exactly the point: the bundle cannot come loose by accident.
