Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for Thomas & Betts cable ties, including versions for the toughest environments. Tefzel® Ty-Raps are made of ETFE, a fluoropolymer that is inert to most solvents and chemicals, hydrolytically stable and non-outgassing. You can recognise them by their aquamarine colour.
They remain reliable from -45 °C to +150 °C and resist radiation and UV. The head holds a marine-grade stainless steel barb that locks the strap at any point. With a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, they are also suitable where smoke generation is a risk.

Tefzel® cable ties are the answer when standard nylon ties get too hot, are attacked by chemicals or must not outgas. Because ETFE releases no gases, it helps prevent contamination of sensitive areas such as vacuum chambers.
Looking for other heat-resistant ties? Take a look at our heat-resistant cable ties. All ties with a stainless steel lock can be found among our metal tooth cable ties.
Tefzel® is the brand name for ETFE (ethylene tetrafluoroethylene), a fluoropolymer. It refers to the material of the tie, not its colour; Tefzel® Ty-Raps themselves are aquamarine.
According to Thomas & Betts, from -45 °C to +150 °C. They can even be installed down to -60 °C.
The aquamarine colour makes the fluoropolymer ties instantly recognisable, so they are not mixed up with ordinary nylon ties.
