Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for Thomas & Betts cable ties, supplying this 360 mm stainless steel tie to installers working on tunnels, solar farms and industrial outdoor sites.

Strap and head are made of uncoated AISI 304 stainless steel. A small ball inside the head clamps the strap as you pull it tight, so the closure takes load immediately and does not creep back. When to choose the 360 mm YLS-4.6-360A

How does it differ from the YLS-4.6-200A?

Both are made of 304 stainless steel with the same 4.6 mm width and the same tensile strength. The YLS-4.6-360A is 360 mm long instead of 200 mm, so you can tie around larger bundles or profiles.

Can I use this tie in a cold store or freezer installation?

Yes. ABB specifies a temperature range starting at -80 °C for the uncoated YLS ties. Metal does not turn brittle in the cold the way some plastics do.

How do I avoid sharp protruding ends?

Cut off the tail with a suitable tool that trims flush against the head. That way no sharp point is left that could injure you or damage a cable sheath.
