If you build panels or assemble cable harnesses every day, you want a tie that behaves the same every time. The TY525MR is that kind of trusted workhorse: 186 mm long, 4.8 mm wide and rated at 222 N. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for Thomas & Betts cable ties, and we see this size mostly in the workshops of panel builders, OEM manufacturers and contractors working in larger quantities. That is why we supply it in packs of 1000.

The strap is made of uncoloured polyamide 6.6, free of halogens and silicone. A 316 stainless steel barb in the low head locks the smooth strap at any position, with no fixed tooth pitch. You decide the tension, and the bundle stays tight even when the installation is subject to vibration. This locking system is available in more sizes among our metal tooth cable ties.

Covering bundles from 3 to 48 mm, this size handles a large share of everyday indoor bundling. The operating range is -60 °C to +85 °C. As the natural version is not UV resistant, it is meant for indoor applications.
