The TY524MR-NDT is 140 mm long and encloses bundles from 2 to 35 mm – enough for a wiring harness along a conveyor, yet still easy to handle in cramped machine spaces. You receive 100 pieces per bag.

The material is polyamide 6.6 blended with a metallic compound, so the tie, or any broken piece of it, is picked up by metal detection and X-ray inspection. It locks with a non-magnetic 316 stainless steel barb that engages the strap at any point and holds it in place. You may know the principle from our metal tooth cable ties; here it is combined with a striking blue colour that stands out immediately in a product stream.

With 133 N tensile strength, this tie is strong enough for cable bundles and light hose packs. According to ABB it can be used from -40 °C to +85 °C, so cold rooms and freezers are covered as well. No UV resistance is specified, so keep it indoors on the production floor.
