Black spiral wrap for cable management

This black spiral wrapping band (8-45 mm range, 10 metres on a roll) bundles and protects cables and lets a cable branch off at any point.

Why spiral wrap?

Unlike a closed sleeve, spiral wrap lets a cable enter or exit at any point. The black version looks neat and protects the bundle from wear. For additional cable management, also see cable ties, heat shrink tubing and velcro fasteners. In addition, the black version is UV-resistant, making it suitable for use in direct sunlight and outdoor applications.

What is it used for?

Desk and home office

Bundle the cables of monitor, PC and chargers into one tidy run.

Audio, TV and media

Tuck away loose cords behind TV and media units.

Applying the spiral wrap

Cut a length of spiral wrap to size. Place the end against the cable bundle and twist the band around the bundle so each coil overlaps the previous one. To branch a cable off, simply let it exit between two coils. You can add or remove cables later with ease; no tools are needed.

Questions and answers

What bundle range does this spiral wrap have?

This size suits bundles with a diameter of roughly 8-45 mm. For thinner or thicker bundles, choose a different size.

What material is the spiral wrap made of?

The band is made of polypropylene (PP): light, flexible and abrasion-resistant.

What is the difference between the black and white version?

Functionally they are identical; the colour is an aesthetic choice. Black blends in behind equipment, white suits light walls and furniture.

How many metres are on a roll?

Each roll holds 10 metres of spiral wrap, which you cut to length yourself.
