The Thomas & Betts TYB24MX is a black cable tie measuring 140 mm long and 3.6 mm wide, with the main feature being the integrated stainless steel 316 locking mechanism in the head. This stainless steel tab provides an exceptionally strong and permanent closure, making this cable tie more reliable than a standard nylon cable tie. The ties are supplied in boxes of 1000 pieces and are made from high-quality polyamide 6.6 (nylon).

How do you attach a cable tie?

A cable tie (also called a bundle strap) quickly and easily holds cables, wires, and pipes together. For the TYB24MX, the pointed end is pushed through the head; once the strap passes the stainless steel 316 locking mechanism, the steel tab grips tightly and the tie cannot be undone.

You can tighten the cable ties by hand or use them in combination with one of our cable tie tools . The advantage of a cable tie tool is that the tie is tightened securely and evenly, and the protruding part is neatly cut off directly.
