Where things get hot, this black heat-resistant cable tie of 300 x 4.8 mm holds firm: the heat-stabilised polyamide 6.6 is resistant to -40 to +120 °C. With a tensile strength of 22.2 kg, you secure bundles up to 76 mm in diameter for good. The pack contains 100 pieces.

How do you fasten a heat-resistant cable tie?

The closure works on a ratchet principle: the toothed end slides through the head and clicks into place tooth by tooth, without slipping back. Tightening by hand is sufficient; for even tension and a neat cut-off you use a cable tie tool.

These heat-resistant cable ties can be used from approximately -40 to +120 °C. This means they withstand considerably higher temperatures than standard cable ties, which typically go up to around +80 °C.

What else are these cable ties resistant to?

Besides heat, they are UV-stabilised and resistant to diluted acids and oils, which makes them suitable for demanding industrial and outdoor environments.

Can I tighten the cable tie by hand, or do I need a tool?

Both are possible. By hand you simply pull the tie tight; with a cable tie tool you tighten it to an even tension and cut the end off flush in the same action.
