This black cable tie (130 x 3.6 mm) in polyamide 6.6 combines a tensile strength of 13.6 kg with a maximum bundle diameter of 28 mm, making it a reliable choice for bundling and securing cabling. Thanks to the open expansion-anchor foot, you can also place the tie around cabling that is already present and mount it in a drilled hole without tools. The pack contains 100 pieces.

How do you fasten a cable tie?

A cable tie – also called a tie-wrap or bundling band – closes with a self-locking ratchet closure. As soon as you push the pointed end through the head and pass the first tooth, the band can no longer move back. You tighten the tie by hand or use a cable tie plier, which pulls the band to a set tension and immediately cuts off the excess end flush.

Fixing with the open expansion anchor

The open expansion-anchor foot snaps into a pre-drilled hole and keeps the bundle secured, with no loose plugs or screws needed. As the foot is open, you can also route the tie around cabling that is already in place without releasing it. This makes the version practical for expanding or adapting existing setups.

How do I mount the open expansion-anchor cable tie?

Press the open mounting foot into a pre-drilled hole and the anchor wedges itself tight. Because of the open form, you can place the tie around cabling that is already installed without releasing it.

What is this cable tie resistant to?

The polyamide 6.6 is UV-stabilised and resistant to diluted acids and oils. The tie can be used at temperatures of roughly -40 to +80 °C, suitable for most indoor and outdoor applications.

Can I tighten the cable tie by hand or do I need a tool?

Both work. By hand you simply pull the tie firm; with a cable tie plier you tighten it to a set, even tension and cut the end off flush in the same action.
