Expansion anchor cable ties (open) - 110mm x 2.5mm - Black

The black cable tie, 110 x 2.5 mm, is made of strong polyamide 6.6 (nylon) and has a tensile strength of 8.1 kg. With it you fasten cables, hoses and conduits up to a bundle diameter of 22 mm firmly and permanently. Thanks to the open expansion-anchor foot, you can also place the tie around cabling that is already present and mount it in a drilled hole without tools. The pack contains 100 pieces.

How do you fasten a cable tie?

Place the tie around the bundle, feed the pointed end through the head and pull until you reach the desired tension; the self-locking teeth keep the tie permanently in place. For consistent tension and a safe, flush cut, a cable tie plier is recommended.

Mounting with the open expansion anchor

The open expansion-anchor foot clicks into a pre-drilled hole and holds the bundle in place, without separate plugs or screws. Because the foot is open, you can easily fit the tie around existing cabling that you do not want to disconnect. That makes this version handy when extending or modifying existing installations.

How do I fit the open expansion-anchor cable tie?

You push the open mounting foot into a pre-drilled hole; the anchor clamps itself in place. Its open shape lets you fit the tie around existing cabling without disconnecting it.

What is this cable tie resistant to?

The polyamide 6.6 is UV-stabilised and resistant to diluted acids and oils. The tie can be used at temperatures of roughly -40 to +80 °C, suitable for most indoor and outdoor applications.

Can I reuse the cable tie?

No, the self-locking ratchet closure is permanent and therefore single-use. The band has to be cut through to remove it.
