ISO 14726 also uses colour coding for work on pipelines and ships.
The coloured cable ties are used at/in:
- Hoisting and lifting equipment inspections,
- Electrical engineering,
- Light and sound,
- Automotive,
- Stand construction
How to attach a tyrap
A tyrap (also known as a cable tie) is a type of fastening material intended in particular for keeping electrical cables, among other things, together quickly and easily.
Once the pointed end of the cable tie is inserted into the hole on the other side and has passed the first ridge, it cannot be withdrawn. Tyraps can be attached by hand or used in combination with one of our cable tying pliers. The advantage of cable tie pliers is that the cable tie can be pulled tight and the protruding part can be cut off immediately.
These yellow cable ties are resistant to diluted acids and oils. In addition, they can be processed at temperatures from -40 degrees Celsius to 80 degrees Celsius.
